All of the land you will hunt on is privately owned and managed. You'll see hundreds of birds which allow for plenty of shooting.
You will hunt on some of the most beautiful country in Central South Dakota. We have access to 4,000 acres of land which consist of food plots, corn, milo and sedan strips, sunflowers, shelter belts, private grasslands (CRP), creek bottoms and draws. This provides unlimited nesting, feeding and wintering habitat for the wild birds.
Pheasants aren't the only birds at access during the hunt. You can also shoot hungarian partridge, sharptail grouse and prairie chicken. These birds are included with your small game license.
We book one hunting party at a time so you hunt only with people that you know, trust and feel safe with. We strongly emphasize good sportsmanship, safety and respect for South Dakota Game Laws.
There are elaborate hunting lodges springing up all around us, but we want to keep our operation on a smaller scale catering to the family like environemnt. We are striving to put all of our efforts in the pheasant habitat and the hunt rather than the lodge.
2003 Season Dates: October 18 - December 31. Times 12 Noon to sunset Oct. 18-25/ 10 a.m. central standard time to sunset the remainder of the season.
Located Approximately 20 miles east of Pierre, SD between Hwy's 14 & 34 or 8 miles southeast of Blunt, SD.
Rates-per gun/per day includes fully guided hunt with trained dogs (or feel free to bring your own) and field transporation. Limit 3 rooster pheasants per hunter/per day.
A deposit is required to reserve hunting dates when booked in advance.
You are responsible for your licesne, guns, shells, blaze orange vest/cap and protective eyewear.
